Terms of Service
Last updated: December 20, 2025
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TierOneCV, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.
2. Description of Service
TierOneCV provides an AI-powered suite for resume building, job description matching, and cover letter generation. We use advanced Large Language Models (LLMs) to construct and optimize professional documents.
3. User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use
You are fully responsible for all activity under your account. You agree not to:
- Upload illegal, defamatory, or strictly confidential content that you do not own.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools to access our services or reverse-engineer our proprietary AI prompts.
- Share your account credentials or attempt to bypass our subscription limitations.
Accounts found violating these rules may be suspended or terminated without prior notice.
4. Billing, Subscriptions, and Refunds
Paid plans and credits are billed in advance on a recurring or one-time basis, depending on your selected tier. Due to the significant computational costs associated with AI generation, all purchases are generally non-refundable once generated outputs have been delivered. You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future billing.
5. AI Outputs & Disclaimers
Accuracy of AI: While TierOneCV strives to generate high-quality, professional content, AI can occasionally hallucinate or produce inaccurate formatting. You acknowledge it is your responsibility to thoroughly review, fact-check, and edit all generated resumes and cover letters before submitting them to employers.
No Guarantee of Employment: We provide optimization tools, but make no guarantees regarding interview invitations, job offers, or employment outcomes.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TierOneCV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.
